I just went through and did this for 7 of my sites and not one single phone verification and all worked exactly the way it was described. I clicked on the justhost cancel link and just followed step by step. Maybe close your browser and try again

No, I think they changed policy. After I signed up, I asked for the 2 other domains, then I got their reply:
"Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately you are not on the premium plan. If you was signing up for this then received a promotion for 50% off and used this it would be the standard account.
There are no discounts for the Premium plan which entitles you to the 3 free domains.
Additional domains on your Unlimited Plan 50% OFF plan is $14.95 per domain, per year.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with. "
So when I buy a car with a promotion coupon, after I paid, the supplier told me I can only get a bike, because the coupon lower my package.

I just signed up with JustHost. They called me for verification and they even required me to mail them my scanned credit card but I did not so I just emailed them that I want to cancel my application but in a minute, I received an email informing that my application is accepted without the scanned card and ID. Just play hardball and they will give in because they need us. I believed the trick will work. I'll see after a month. Lol!

But a few points things have changed i think since this method was posted.
1. Now using the 50 % off method does not give you access to 2 more free domains.
2. They require some kind of verification : i.e national id
Other than this, it works. AND IT IS AWESOME - saved me a few hundred bucks on Hosting.
