Explain deposit and send from same btc address please?

Can anybody explain how to do the following please,

There is an exchange called keetticoin, they say the following.

"To verify your (external) address with your account, you need to make a deposit from this address."

They basically saying I have to send from the same btc address that I want to withdraw too.

Can anyone explain how to do this please?

Looks like a scam. Please read reviews about the exchange first.

They are saying you have to deposit some amount could be 0.1 cents to check that the wallet address is linking with the email address .

Yes it's definable got scam written all over it, but just thought I'd anyone else has come across this before.

The question I'm asking is, is it actually possible to send and receive from the same address, ignore the scam bit.

Yes it is just try it. put your same adreess to the send recepient. but you burn gas. so no point.
