Expired Tumblers..

I dont think that they are worthless enough if you use them smartly they are boon for your websites.

I did noticed this while creating some manual links on Tumblr, and i knew it's something that would turn off several people.

But am not passing any judgement yet on them, lets see if they are that powerful anymore to pass some great juice.

nothing ever gets completely obsolete online there always must be a way out....

For me Web 2.0 New and expired aren't working even with strong GSA settings. I Think google has disqualified link juice passing from certain properties. Maybe after Feb I will get my VPS down

Wouldn't say they're worthless yet. Maybe not as powerful as before but hey, things change all the time in SEO.

I sent 30 tumblr links to my money site that is sitting at 4th position. Blast the tumblrs links and after a month I have dropped to 6th position. Yes, tumblr is not as powerful as it used to be... It will be good idea to do a case study with an easy to rank niche...

I am planning to hit my site with a small amount of tumblr links to test, any advice on how to make it bring more link juice?

I am still seeing Tumblr as great for SEO, yet I suppose it's too soon to tell. I mentioned in another thread that if you have custom templates or themes on your Tumblr accounts with extenal backlinks in the menus they are still regular links, as opposed to the meta refresh ones.

I'm still ranking sweet, I don't know if it's the links in my templates or they are still good to go.

As expert know's the best way to find broken links is tool like "well its better to not say". and much of ram ..
Even with a server machine with 256gb ram i could only download 32% of all tumblr .
Yes i found lot of broken links and removed blogs , and yes a good amount of it was pr6 and above.
But .. most of them are well "in my opinion" already bought by some poeple thought tumblr itself . yes i beilive that .
How many poeple has server machine's with this amount of ram so they can crawl a big site like this ? FEW
and how many from those FEW'S happends to do seo's and etc job's ? fewer than FEW.
So , how its possible from 280 domains with good pr i get only 2? the most of them was taken , or better , pre-taken ... with the title <h1>There's nothing there</h1> still stood.
I found up to 1000 pr 4 and below. i kept some for my own ofcourse . but i could get as much as i wanted at pr6 and above . only one pr6 and thats it.
Someone from the tumblr team is a nasty boy and sell blogs to blackmarket .. this is sure ..

Weebly went no-index, Tumblr went meta refresh. Both of these things happened in a short period of time, this is the trend. The major players will bow out and become nofollow/useless and all we will be left with is the complete crap Web 2.0 sites nobody has heard of which will instantly flag us up if we dare to use them.

What is even one incentive for Web 2.0s to stay do follow? It only matters to people who want to use them for SEO.
