I need some advice on purchasing an expired domain. The domain is an exact match for my keyword and has a TF14 and CF 14 and 14 years old. The asking price is $900. Is this a good price and would it have an instant affect on rankings.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Does it have a decent non spammy backlink profile? Any links from big sites?

Open site explorer gives it a spam score of 3/17. It has a few links from same neiche sites however nothing big

How many links does it have all together? What is the # of referring domains? Imo 900 is a lot if it's only Few niche links. You could buy a far superior domain for that kind of money.

. Com? .Net?
What is the monthly global G search?
1 word 2 word ...?
More info please .

Open site explorer gives it a spam score of 3/17. It has 14.2k backlinks

Sorry .net two words

I would suggest you to buy from a reputed expired domain seller . You can get some real gem with TF , CF and DA .

Google Adwords have 10k to 100k searches per month. Also any advise on a reputable domain seller on BHW

Andya415 contact @Nargil, he is the best expired domain seller here imo. He already has a premium stock and if you want something more high end, he could probably find you a gold nugget from auctions.

Also reach out to @SkyrocketSEO - his stuff his really high end but also expensive.

If its a very good BRAND two words domain, i think its worth it, except if it got spammed links as you said no.

Thanks for the advice guys

EMD for $900 is a big no. That domain is probably not even clean, as most EMDs are already spammed to death or have a pretty bad history. Don't waste your money on stuff like this :)

Seems quite high to me. As others have mentioned, check the backlink profile, make sure its not be used for pharma etc in the past. Check it with wayback machine. Also seems quite low TF and CF for an established domain which is 14 years old.

Spam score on moz not always bad.
The past website which dont have contact person n only have small page/post its fals positive spam on moz.
The important is tf/cf, check backlink on ahrefs n check past record one by one on archieve.org

with $900 you can buy many other better domain.

try Domain Hunter Gatherer

That's a lot of backlinks. Check how many ref domains they are coming from.

Just based on the information you've given though it sounds way too overpriced.

I would definitely go through @Nargil, there's a reason he gets mentioned on so many threads regarding this topic.
