Expired Domains / PBN Question

Hello folks,

This question will sound NOOBISH as I am actually new to this PBN game. Like this is going to be my first move.

I found some Over DA 20+ Domain names some days ago. About 2 of them actually looked very clean as their spam score was reading very low. One was even ZERO.

But Waybackmachine showed that they were both previously none ENGLISH sites. My website is in english. Of what use could they be to me.

I'd be very glad to read your thoughts, even if you'd just be pointing me to a thread to read about this. Most of the ones I found are not really treating these.

Non English sites means Chinese site? If yes, please avoid that domains.

Have checked backlink history and anchor ratio?

Define a non-English site. If it was in an Asian language (chinese/japanese/korean etc) then it's most likely been either penalized or is flagged in some sort of way.

I'm new as well, but like others said I wouldn't dance with a non-english site. You can copy and paste the characters into google translate to see what the site's about.

Chinese/Asia usually bad. In any other languages if they look good, and anchor profile is clean, which means that do not have much exact keywords anchors, raw url should be most used anchor, then it could be good.

I had cases where my pbn domain get deindexed, then someone else get same domain and setup random chinese site, that site drops again after some time and then some legitimate ecommerce store setup new site and domain get indexed normally, i was wondering why this happens. Maybe google after some time reset any blocks that spammed domain had? I guess they would not want to blacklist forever millions of domain names, because there are people who want to build legitimate business websites or blogs and have never heard for SEO. I would still advice you to search for clean domain, but if domain you like doesnt have spammed links and anchors, and the only bad thing you see is some chinese site on archive it doesnt mean domain will never again index.

If your site is in english, and you check the wayback machine and see the potential PBN is in any other language than english...

STEER CLEAR.

if you do a new website, use page indexer and it's ok

the old website's version don't impact your website if not spammed

Plenty of other expired domains in the sea .

You guys are really helpful... I will just avoid these domains all together and keep digging as most of you have advised
