Expired domain

For a new site I would like to start with an expired domain instead of a fresh one so I found some domains with scrapebox but I don't know which one to choose. Since it's my first time using this method I need someone that can recommend me one of the following:

Without niche, how well domain match it, ... there's nothing to suggest

Just from stats, they don't look sth special. I would go for one of them ONLY if they were niche relevant and I really liked the name.

Go for the best metrics while looking at the backlink profile and making sure its 100% quality.

If there are 100% niche relevant go with the one that has the best niche relevant links. If one of them has clean links close to your keyword go with this one. Otherwise go for a combination of a good name +plus clean branded links.

Remember to check them with way back, I've bought a few domains before forgetting to check then they never got indexed. So I check why and see they were Viagra websites spammed to death! :-(

To be honest, none of those domains have particularly good metrics. But even relatively weak expired domains can give you a head start, so choose the ones with the best metrics and most appropriate domain name and start checking the back link profile. And as mentioned above, check the domain in the wayback machine.

Google ban/sandbox/penalties can be overthrown with new ownership.

Screw all metrics. Backlinks - is the only thing that matters. All metrics are only mere signs whether it makes sense looking at backlinks manually or not.

Don't go by any of those metrics. Go through the backlink profile of the domain. If you find interesting backlinks that is niche relevant pointing to the domains, then go ahead and pick it up.

Just don't go on with metrics

domain is easy to find with better stats. i try for 15 or more in tf and check backlink is good before buying. even in niche is not had to find such domain

21 and 22 - does archive.org and anchors/links check out?

These metrics are just an indication, you need to check the backlink profile, NOBODY here can give you ANY advice and witch to select based on the info you have provided as none of us know the backlink profiles of these domains. If you're mainly selecting on TF/DA metrics you will be missing out on great domains.

Is there a tool that would at least narrow down a list of expired domains' back link profiles to let's say ok-ish profiles or does it have to be reviewed manually one by one? I use Moz OSE for spam flags before I dive in and nitpick but is there anything else (bulk check perhaps).

I find plenty of high da/pa and tf/cf with close to 1 tf/cf ratio and evenly spread anchors but when I start clicking on back links on the 2nd and 3rd page in Majestic, that's where the fun stops as I run into spam in most cases.
