Expired Domain with alot Back links

I have few domains with alot back links,PR,DA is also good,question is to rank a new site do i just use redirect from expired domains to site i want to rank or create a blog/site on those domains then use anchor text?thanks

Too many redirects will result in your site being penalized.
 
Yep, too many redirects are overkill. Set up a private blog network with those domains. t0mmy has a really good tut on how to set those up real good.
 
Do 301 redirect if it's relevant to your money site. Otherwise, use it as PBN.

thanks for the good answers!after making a pbn & writing an article, i use main keyword anchor in it?
 
Use it as a PBN you will get the most benefit from this rather then a redirect. Make sure to vary your anchor texts other wise you will.be penalized.

You should use other types of links such as profile, doc sharing and web 2.0s using varying anchor texts as generic or brand. So you can use exact and LSI variation with powerful link sources such as PBNs.

I've been building PBNs for all of my new expired domains, but never done 301s. I've recently purchased quite a few domains, and one of them is 100% match for relevancy, same niche same category same business really, with really good and clean back link profile and TF 33. Apart from losing out on the anchor text, is there anything else that you lose out on / gain if you do 301? I know that only a fraction of the juice is passed on, but I've never tried it for myself and don't know how big / small the fraction is :).

Edit: Also, would the 301 boost MS' topical TF or just pass on some of the juice?

The problem with simply focusing on volume of backlinks is that you have to focus also on niche-specificity.

Getting backlinks from dropped domains is not going to push the ball forward all that much.

You need to look for other indications of quality.

Personally speaking, I would stop looking at dropped domains as backlink sources.

Instead, I would focus on earning links through better content and establishing better relationships.

But that?s just me.

I look a couple of years down the road, and let?s face it, dropped domains and the backlinks you get from them are

simply just one Google update away from being obsolete.

That?s the gospel truth.
