expired domain traffic

Hi,

bought a google page rank 1 expired domain

but when i installed my anlytics code i found no traffic on it...it has been alredy 7 hours noe but still no traffic.

can any one help

Wait few more hours and then contact hosting company, it is probably something on their end...PR1 sites usually get 1000 unique visitors each day.

Well you can't find that many PR1s with so many visitors a day. Maybe you meant 1000 a month.

Silly me, I thought people would understand that it was sarcasm....

@OP, it's normal that you don;t have visitors, just cause it is PR1 it doesn't mean shit, you bought worthless domain probably

You should buy yourself a sarcasm detector.

I'll be the honest guy: you probably bought a shitty domain, maybe even fake PR. Even if everything is legit, that won't guarantee you'll have any traffic, especially if it already has been deindexed. You're an older member than me, you should know this kind of stuff. If you want, PM me the domain so I can have a look, but most likely you bought a worthless domain.

Pr domains are hard to keep their rankings specially if they have already expired.
I suggest you focus on building real traffic to your domain never mind the PR.

Hint: For PR domains try to reinstate or emulate the expired site pages links urls and even content this could help to keep the site rank alive, only then start inserting your own links, ads etc. Safer way. ;)

that was an expired domain.....i bought it and installed wordpress and google anlytics......and was just checking weather traffic is there or not
 
First check if the domain names is indexed, and then check all the backlinks that the domain names is linked too. the backlinks might be no good.
 
Hey abh2780,

To check if a site is indexed, go to google and do "site:domain.com" and make sure "domain.com" shows up in the first few results.
Do the same thing for "info:domain.com" and "domain.com".
