Expired Domain Question - AHREFs DOMAIN RATING?

Hi Guys,

Right now I'm checking for some expired domains. I have multiple Domains to choose from. All have clean history and are spamfree.

But I don't know which domain I should choose.

Should I take a domain with a high Ahrefs DR but less do follow Backlinks or a domain with more do follow backlinks and a lower DR?

Which Domain will be more powerful?

I base my decision of using a domain to build a niche website on or using it for BLs purely based on quality of backlinks. So I prefer that at least 70pc of BLs are Do Follow BLs referred from domains having a Moz DA status of 70+. I cross very this at ahref too.

I also suggest that you check as to what was the original site all about, at the archive.org way back machine. Check those available domains and pick up that one which matches the business plan, content plan you have arrived at for scaling up the site you want to build.

You cannot determine the power of the domain based on metric numbers. You have multiple domains to choose from. Check backlink profiles of all of them and then decide.

If you really want to use the metrics, then us them when determining power of the backlinks. Check how strong domains (DR, TF, DA) are pointing to your domain and evaluate it that way.
