Hey guys, I bought a good expired domain before 3 months a go and published around 10 HQ 2500+w contents.

At the first month I saw good movement but then it was bad.

So my question it’s there anything more I must to do? Like push them with PBN or with som good back links or anything else?


2: how long need to wait to get out from sandbox cuz I think I’m in sandbox

To what page are all the external links are coming to your domain ?
How many pages got indexed ?

Since you changed you niche your success rate might be lower, but it usually takes a few months.

Are your posts longer than the posts that your competitors have ?
Do you have any EAAT on your posts?

Yes I post every 2-3 day
And yes I have EAAT
 
How does your anchor text cloud look that goes to the home page ? All clean with branded anchors ?

I assumed you checked the Web archive to see what was on the domain before you bought it? ( I mean how any owners the domain had and how many times the niche changed)
 
This domain is almost 7-9y old ( clean ) without any spam links

It was a site for awards, perhaps for musicians or actors, I don’t remember

Yes that is sandbox, when you see impressions falling.
Are you posting high/medium competition topics, better write about long tail very low competition topics in your niche once they get indexed and stick for at least 5 days, then start building on it.

Also very long articles wont be beneficial if user is not reading scrolling all the way, i would rather put 400 to 500 words articles, facts/figures, embed related youtube on few, enable infinite scroll, to increase engagement and decrease bounce rate
 
Why change the niche? Google has algorithm to target expired domain spam, change niche is a bad idea.
 
You should've probably kept the niche the same, but keep your pace moving forward.

Keep posting articles & interlinking, keep creating & indexing backlinks.

Google will eventually develop small trust for your site within your niche.

I agree with the people here.. you changed your niche therefore you will be problems with Google algorithm.. but I think one step you could do is slowly create quality contents until you get back in the game..

As correctly pointed out here, the reason is most likely due to a change in content topics. After the latest Google updates, we track the sudden change of content topics.

I assume that in cases where Google detects such manipulation (domain hijacking and content change to use the old domain authority in the new topic), it simply DEFINES the domain authority.

So if you are targeting high and medium competition keywords, you will lose the competition even with a domain with high TF/DA/DR.

Despite what ahrefs and semrash show, their metrics were relative to the old site. Not your new one.
