SEOs, I acquired this domain through an auction and rebuilt it. the domain is clean with quality links and its been sitting around for around a year although the homepage was still indexed. links are mostly pointing to the homepage which is understandable since its a tool domain. my worry is it's been 4 weeks now and its still sitting on page 10. What's y'all advice? It's my first time dealing with expired domains and I'm developing cold feet over this. what are the best practices I should incorporate? ps. i rebuild all the pages and links as they were from archives. It's a pretty solid domain imo.

same things happened with me.
I have acquired a domain and that domain home page only index. i have published 5 new pages but, no one is index.
also, in GSC sitemap couldn't fetch. don't know it's normal or not
do you guys face the same issues ?

Yeah, I’ve run into that too with expired domains. Sometimes it just takes a day or two for everything to kick in, especially if the DNS is still updating. I’d double-check the nameservers and make sure it's actually pointing to your host. Also seen cases where it looks like it's not picking up, but it’s just the tools lagging behind. Give it a bit of time — usually sorts itself out.
