I recently purchased an expired domain with links from niche, relevant big sites. All the links are indexed on Google, but I cannot find them in the Google Search Console links tab.

Is this normal? Or is Google not considering them, maybe?

All the links are very old, 2015 - 2019.

On one domain I have, it took weeks to start showing up, you might wanna reindex the urls that you need most of the links.

When have you added the domain?

It can be super delayed.

I've added the domain to GSC around 2 months back.

What I need to reindex? The backlinks?

Hmm that is quite long.

Try to get some backlinks re-crawled like @RoiBox suggested and see if they pop.

There is of course a sandbox period in which the website unperforms. Maybe this is just visual representation of them being ignored on purpose.

Have you recovered the internal URLs of your domain where these links are pointing to?

Most of these urls are pointing to homepage, some of them link to non https version which is automatically get redirected to https version.

I can pm the link if anyone wants to debug the problem.

I tried re-indexing a few backlinks. But still, no success; google search console doesn't show the backlinks.

Does google understand that the site is built on an expired domain, and that's why they don't consider the old backlinks?

Any recommendations?
