So my one of my checks from clickbank expired, forgot to take it to the bank... will I ever see that money again? I hear it's quite impossible to get in contact with anyone at clickbank, is there any chance they'll just put the money back automatically?

Why don't you have a look around and find a contact number, instead of asking if it's impossible to contact anyone. They'll know if the check has been cashed or not.

How can you forget to take a check to the bank?

Checks really don't expire like you think they do. Those dates are just there to encourage you to cash it within a few months so having the money out for so long doesn't mess up their books. Just go to the bank and cash it.

Of course you'll get your money, you're still owed it no matter what, that doesn't change just because you don't cash their checks on time.

I found a Clickbank check from one of my accounts I don't use much that was over 12 months old for around $30. I sent it back to them and they re-issued me a new one.

cheques are legally entitled to be cashed for up to six years from the date of issue despite belief they have a 6 month expiry on.

The common acceptance in banking terms is the cheque goes "stale" after 6 mnths, but you can push it through on the 6 year ruling - in most cases to avoid any doubt, just ask for a re-issue as CB will know it has not been cashed, you may expect to pay an admin fee if they charge you for a new one tho - depends on vendor.
