i have some websites with good content which are not working today.but i have back up and all backlinks. these websites are not working for last 5-6 years. now i want to reinstall online it again and i want to reindex all backlinks which are still live. is it possible again take ranking with help of this?please give me your suggestion

Check all the backlinks.. It should be niche relevant.. Then request for indexing..also submit the sitemap....and yes old domain works good
 
All you can do is give it a try for Google hides all the relevant data. Google is now temperamental, what works for one site might nuke another.
 
If you have quality backlinks not only do the robots trust your website, but actual people also trust your website, good content is also important as content is a great way to spread your brand and grab the interest of prospective customers.
