I am expert in video editing but it is hard to find leads any suggestion how to get more clients

"I feel you, showcasing your best work on a platform like Behance or even just a solid portfolio site can make a difference."

It's general best to create personal brand around your work using your face, it's make you look way more trustful, and creating any "educational" content will attract people from the same industry, also cold reach works grat if you have something to show. Keep in mind that there is not anything like "expert video editor" outside cinema/movies, video editing is extremly simple, and extremly saturated by people from 3rd word countires with very low rates.

Stop hunting and start showcasing. Build a killer reel and spam it *everywhere* potential clients hang out.

i'd say lately to safe yourself from alot of trouble try to attract client not find them

I've had success posting valuable editing tips on LinkedIn with no cta to hire me. Just helpful information with the idea that the right people will then direct message me. It's worked pretty well honestly. At this point though I'm really trying to only edit video for myself and not other people. I find I get a higher return on my talents that way. So one way to think about it is to create a product, brand or service that you own and then make it success by leveraging your editing skills for yourself.

If you think your video production technology is particularly mature, I think you should not actively look for customers, but let customers come to you. This is a change in thinking. After you change, you will find that you can use your existing technology to create satisfactory works, and publish them to various work exchange platforms you can find, short video platforms, or video production technology platforms. When you combine these resources, you will get the customers you want, and they will come by themselves, instead of you looking for them. Of course, the most important thing is that you should treat video making as your own hobby, not just a simple boring job. When your mentality is different, the works you produce will also be different, and the customers you attract will also be different.
