Hey everyone. I truly love this forum and decided to help all of you beginners and anyone struggling out a bit. I'm constantly disappointed with the "making money" section of the forum, as most posts are shit. Let's be real - people aren't going to give away their true moneymakers, and this is for good reason and is understandable. I decided to give you all the rare thread that can help you make money asap It's something I currently do, but I don't think anyone will interfere with the niches I'm in, and to be honest, most people will give up before they succeed, so I'm not worried about oversaturation.
I won't go into every single tiny ass detail, but I will give you enough to get going and make sales and scale asap. If you read this carefully there's a lot of things you can do with these tactics. Good luck.
Step 1: Choose Your Niche
Any niche is fine, but it helps if it's something a lot of people are passionate about. For this guide, I'm going to pretend to be in the politics niche.
Step 2: Create A Name For Your Store/Brand
If I did politics I would actually have two projects: one to pander to democrats and one to pander to republicans. We will call them (for the sake of simplicity) democraticstore.com and republicanstore.com
Step 3: Create Your Store And Social Accounts
For this, we're going to need a Facebook account, a Facebook page, a Reddit account, a Pinterest account, and a Shopify or Woocommerce site. If you don't know how to set up a Shopify store there are about a billion tutorials on Youtube and it's very straightforward. Bonus: set up an eBay account, Amazon Store, Craigslist account, Etsy store, Teespring account, etc. The big POD providers integrate with Etsy, eBay and Amazon, making publishing products very easy.
Step 4: Signup for your POD provider of choice
I use Printify the most, and a few others for random products. Play around with each and figure out what you like the most.
Step 5: Make Your Designs
If you don't know graphic design that's okay. I don't either. I use a site called Canva to create designs. Play around with it. It's super easy. You can also hire one of the many graphic designers on here to make designs for you. I did a quick design last night for this project and actually posted in a few places and sold one within 24 hours. It was something super simple, but that people desire. Here's the shirt:
If you're wondering where I got the image it's called an "element" when you're using Canva. Search anything you want to see what photos they have. Some do cost $1.
Step 6: Import Your Products To Your Store
You can also drop ship products with this method. I do both, but what I love about POD is that you can make things that are "unique". As in you can create designs and messages that aren't already in the marketplace.
Now that you have the designs, you need to put them on the products you want to sell and import them to your store. Your print on demand provider will connect to your store and import it for you. Get your products on your store and make it look pretty and legit. Pay someone here or on Fiverr or somewhere to do store design if you suck at it.
Step 7: Here's How We Get Sales
Social media, and most things in life, work together to go full circle. I'm going to walk you through my pretend political projects for this and you can just copy what I would do. Feel free to think outside the box and tweak this any way you want.
Okay, so, remember I have two projects: one for dems and one for repubs. I will just walk you through this from one project, as I would be doing the same thing for the other just with products and content that's pandering to that audience. First off, if you're going the extra mile then list your products on eBay, Amazon, Teespring, etc. These are existing marketplaces, so you may as well take the few minutes out of your day to add them there since the products are already in existence.
Facebook: Now, be sure to take advantage of Facebook Marketplace (1 billion monthly users here), but in an intelligent manner. For my pro-Trump, pro-Republican products I would Google, "Most Republican states in the US" or "states with the highest Trump support in the US". Let's go with the latter since I showed you that Trump shirt above and this is where I got the sale from even though I was dicking around. So, we get our list of the top states with Trump support and we see that Wyoming and West Virginia are the top two, and we even make a list of the top 10. I then breakdown all major cities in these 10 states. Now I take my x number of trump and pro repub products and I list each one in a different city. That's really all there is to it. You will get sales here, and if they're skeptical about you shipping from Facebook Marketplace since you aren't an actual business you send them to your online store to purchase securely. Bonus: Did you know if you have a Facebook page that's a business page you can list your items on Marketplace AS THE PAGE instead of your profile? So, this listing could be by "The Republican Store" instead of Joseph Kirby (me). What this does is allows people to click through to your Facebook page where you link your site/they can follow you/etc. This is important
On top of this, let's take advantage of Facebook groups for sales. Now, you obviously can't just list products in groups or you will get banned for spam. So, how do we get around this? Blog posts. If you can't write, hire someone here or on Fiverr. Get some short, 500-1000 word blog posts done for you. Make them SUPER clickbaity. An example for my project would be, "Top 10 Times President Trump OWNED President Obama" or something stupid like that. Get a nice, catchy photo as well. Post the blog posts (one at a time) on your Shopify or site and then join AS MANY Facebook groups in your niche as possible. For this project I would join all the Republican/pro trump and even like "america" groups that I can find on Facebook. There are SOOO many Facebook groups. Join every single one that's some what related to your niche. You now share the blog link from your site into all of these groups. This will be approved in 99% of groups because it's a blog post and is related to the content of the group you're in. You're now getting a ton of people clicking through to your site to read this post. Make sure you use some sort of popup to let them know you have a store. When they get to your site to read the blog have a popup that advertises a new product, or gives x% off all items, or get x% off your first purchase if you join the mailing list (build that email list!!!), etc. You can also use the "enter your email to enter our giveaway". You can build a huge email list with this.
I also use Craigslist. I will list the products in the same manner there (so pro trump cities I would list this Trump shirt). Craigslist still gets a lot of traffic and I do make sales there.
Pinterest:
Take your blog post and pin it and link it to the site. You can also make memes and other related content if you want to mass pin, and link each one back to the site.
Reddit:
Share the blog posts to appropriate subreddits that allow it.
You can use Instagram, Tik Tok, Youtube and Twitter if you want, as well, but I figured I would start with the important things. People come to your store for the content, but then find themselves in a store that has products related to their bias/opinions/ideologies.
You now have your products listed on Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, eBay, and Etsy, plus you have your own store where you can drive massive traffic organically using social media and blog posts that you don't even have to write. It's really that simple. This can be tweaked in so many different ways to do so many different things, but even just these simple actions can be easily scalable to 4 figures a month.
I personally do something similar and I get over 1000 organic, unique views to my sites a day. I hope this helps a lot of people. You even have the politics example to go ahead and use if you want. It's a very powerful one. People love to wear their hearts on their sleeves (literally and figuratively). Good luck to everyone! Go crush those sales!
Bonus: Use Influencer shoutouts in your niche for additional traffic.
