dozens of people here sell edu backlinks and no one expert to explain the types of edu backlinks and what is bs and what is quality?
you would probably get sales if you will explain it

The edu links that hold value usually come from genuine references or faculty pages, while quick wins like profiles or comments tend to vanish fast

Comments are because edu left comments open by mistake will get spammed to death untill its turned off.
Not valuable.
Same with pdf upload.
Articles are valuable but if you sell large OBL, not valuable.
In general any link with large OBL means it's a link farm or got spammed.

Automated .edu links are not as effective, contextual editorial ones do have effect. If you see someone selling bulk .edu, it’s almost always the first type and not the kind Google values.

The ones that require effort are usually content-driven, like posting a legit article or project mention

Mostly said it gives benefit or not I give you simple answer if the links got indexed and relevent you will get benefits. 100% Cases .edu sites will never index. Sometime I surprised to see automative site get links from .edu site what is this is it cool

Great comments
So what are the best ways to gain genuine edu backlinks and where to find those sites at

Most .edu links are trash. Real ones take effort rest get deleted or do nothing. You know the drill.

The strong ones are contextual pages on student/teacher subdomains or e portfolios that stay live. Blog comments and forums on .edu usually get deleted fast and pass little value. Manual outreach to real university subdomains is what lasts.

you outreach and ask what?
where do you find their emails?

Create editor approved EDU backlink, Public post allowed edu backlink doesn't work anymore, such as redirect , blog comment, forum, image, sub domain, parasite type etc. edu link are useless.
just waste of money.

Most edu backlinks are spammy and vanish fast. The real gems are scholarships, resource pages, or legit faculty mentions those actually stick and carry weight.

Finding real edu links isn’t easy tbh. You can look for scholarship pages, department resource lists, or uni clubs that publish external links. Outreach works best if you actually offer something valuable for their students, not just a random guest post pitch.
