Experiencing today extremely huge decrease in reach

Likewise... posted 3 new post from blog over the weekend and got 1k, 28k and 3.5K reach.
The usual reach for this page is 50K to 150K per post from blog.

I think you have to get constant flow of high reach to get better reach for future posts. Not quite sure tho.

Somehow, I agree that Fb is messing around with pages. They keep dropping reach and its devastating, especially for ppl who have been spending on promotion. WTF!!!

BTW... all posts are manually posted.
No schedules or third party tools used.

try to post another domain
i post from 3 domains the same article for test ...and i have very low reach on one domain

I confirm this, we just launched a new domain and reach looks way better, while old domains still suck.

today the reach is again very low, even if you have a new domain!

During the weekend we had the usual reach back, traffic is as it was before. So maybe its just a question of time for you as well. However I was wondering if this is the new sort of punishment fb started to use or this was just a bug...

This might be in connection with the low reach phenonemon. We had it reported to FB support that some post get published but get deleted right afterwards. These post deletions were quite regular during we had low reach, not its better, so you might need to check if your post get delivered or not.

Here is the response we got from FB support: "Looking at the post IDs mentioned, it appears that the content that was shared was removed by our systems. This could be due to various factors, such as the link being reported by users as spam, or being detected by our systems as a malicious link." Which does not help a lot but at least we see that FB has problems with certain posts.

The interesting thing is if we move deleted content to another domain, or change thumbnail image it can be shared fine... No need to mention we share only quality content on FB, no fake news, no spam.

Are your pages over 100k? I read somewhere you can contact Fb and ask them to change the reach limit.

I'm not sure where to though.

I have 11 pages with over 3 million followers combined. As of yesterday post stop reaching beyond 4k. This one is new for me as I've had the 0 reach thing a few times on some pages but gotten the reach back. Now the pages are just super low reach. some post won't reach more than 1k on pages with 400k+ followers when usually we get 30k-100k reach. All started after the vegas shooting. I'm hoping its just that sports links are being pushed down and will return later. I've also shared links from main news publications on the pages and these posts see the same reach as mine so it's not a website problem. Anyone else experiencing this?

yet another massive decrease in reach since yesterday without any obvious reason!
FB did it again :/

i'm glad you didn't experienced this :)
yes...unfortunately it's still ongoing..

Try to identify the post which was the last one with good reach, then check the following post that had low reach, try to gather information from these. Did the last good or the first bad content have clickbait title, or forbidden words like "shocking", did it have a thumbnail image that contanied nudity (even male nipples can trigger nudity alert from FB side, personal experience), or before after photos maybe? Try to analyze publishing tools maybe you can identify certain posts that had low reach before, that could have triggered something. Take a look at your pages insights fb.com/yourpage/insights/?section=navReach, look for anything suspicous. If this does not give you any hints, try to change domains, try to remove certain ads from your site, use different title techniques, test anyting you have in your mind. I hope this helps, it helped us, when we were in trouble.

@rush1a

thank you so much for the feedback...
i think you 're absolutely right...need testing testing and...testing cause fb's system has become quite weird...
will see how we could proceed.
