So I spoke with an affiliate manager for an Affiliate Network yesterday and I don't think that running an affiliate program for my Dating Website through them would be the best option, considering my limited funds. I'd burn through everything very quickly so now I'm considering two things: (1) running my own affiliate program with self-hosted affiliate program software and (2) putting my entire advertising budget into recruiting affiliates instead of advertising my dating site.

I am considering using managedaffiliateprograms.com, affiliatewiz.com/, idevdirect.com/, or affiliatetrail.com. The prices range from $47 to $800 and some programs also have monthly fees.

Anyone have any experience with any of these or similar programs?

I use idev on one of my whitehat retail sites. Best program for the money that I could find at the time. Still very happy with it.

Good to hear, I saw on their site that it integrates with a lot of shopping cart software, but now I'm wondering if this software can handle subscriptions and splitting the payments monthly. I'll check right now, but if anyone has any experience with that particular feature, it'd be cool to hear from you.

Affiliate Trail is the cheapest one I found... $47. Anyone have any idea why I shouldn't choose this cheapo program?

Sounds good, I didn't find Affiliate Trail when I was looking for a program to use.

We use Post Affiliate Pro on our affiliate program on Sleeponcommand.com

It is great software man, everything we need, including creating banners and letting affiliates share them on facebook. easy to integrate with most merchants and their support team is excellent have had all my problems solved promptly. round the clock support!

Post Affiliate Pro is pretty good, I have had experience with it myself, the staff are pretty decent, It has tons of options and is fairly straight forward to use.
