Experience with fliers or door hangers?

I'm having a ton of trouble with CL lately and trying to find reliable posters.

I was considering doing something with fliers and I wondered if anyone had any experience with this.

I'm doing something in the "Making money online" or "Making money from home" niche.

I've thought of a number of ways to go about it and it may just come down to me shelling out a few bucks and trying to see what works but I wanted to see if anyone had any advice...?

We were doing door hangers promotion for a local sex shop with a door hanger saying:"Do not disturb while fucking my wife" with small print containing local sex shop contact and web site.

Ended up in the news. Huge success for $20-ish

This is now the best known sex shop in the state.....selling didldos by dozens.

Wow. That's awesome.

$20? Was that only a couple hundred? In my brief research I'm expecting to pay about 20 cents for the door hangers to be printed and delivery.

Don't think about cents now, try to create a message that will shock the receiver.
You in the making money niche? Print something like :"Went picking up girls in my Lambo" or "Busy fucking $1000 hookers and smoking Cuban cigars"

Fliers worked fine for me once, very little investment and nice results. Try spreading them strategically though; say universities nearby, etc.

Anything which takes a few squares by suprise or pushes them outside of their comfort zone will make the news if done in such a brazen and proud manner as you seem to have. Kudos I wish my computer repair door hanger flyers back in the day had done so well! I hope business continues to boom for you!
