About 5 years ago I stumbled across BHW and in a search to make money. Well I'm still on that search but now I have spent the last 5 years learning computer programming (and I'm alright at it (even landed a good job)).

So my question is this, what should I do with my skills? I'm sure I can develop most things to an "enterprise" level (good SOLID principles in OOP), what would you do if you could automate/build anything.

I have the skills, but need a direction.

Any thoughts?

If you can do web-based applications I have something you can do for me.

But I would say make something gimmicky. Normally, I wouldn't suggest this, but it does add to your portfolio and you need something.

I suggest partnering with an experienced marketer who has no coding skills.

Don't sit on your ass and program something. Usually the excuses you give to yourself is just that, made up excuses. Start small and grow big
