    Hi,
Right now I'm planning on making a chess website/blog. I'm looking for a writer. Criteria:
    1) Native English Speaker
    2) Sentences should flow smoothly
    3) And lastly, should have a USCF rating above 1500, or some sort of international rating if you are a player outside the US ( If you don't know what that is, then I don't want your service. Sorry.)

I'm not going to request your service immediately, but pm me if you meet the criteria, and I'll pm you back for your service when the time comes.

    Thanks!

Nice idea. I've never been rated, but I used to have good games with club players rated above 1600. If I were to rate my top form at the time, it was about 1650 - 1700.

I would say you raise your minimum requirement to at least 1600. I find that is the level at which rated players are able to communicate worthy insight and analysis of the game.

I did dream of starting a chess site, but haven't had the time. Plus you have to consider your audience will largely be an estimated 1200 - 1600. This is the group that tries to get an edge on their game by reading stuff online.

I'm rated but have no interst in it to write about it.
You can probably just copy chess life magainze. You get it when you become a member of us chess federation. It's not expensive.
