Expensive domain value

Hi All,
Just found a niche that should do well and am trying to buy a domain for it.
The domain that's good ends up being $1221.00!
Question is, is it worth it to buy a seeming popular domain name for that much money as an affiliate?

I think it's not a good idea to invest so much money into the domain. Instead, you can buy cheaper domains (.org .net etc) and use the money for SEO or create high-quality content.

does the .xxx at the end really make a difference?
Also, what about respelling ...ex: hats.com --> hatz.com

Yes for me i think many people will impress in first time so when the people see the domain at first time they get fixed to that by remembering and also it should be very catchy.
Domain really matters for big sites it have have some good meaning also related to the niche you are using.

i dont think so its good idea..you can invest this money in linkbuilding and you will rank new domain also..
