Just wondering what are the usual ways to expand a blog. Been searching through the BHW forums, and found some stuff, but I want more input. I already created all the social media links. Thanks

Do Image sharing of your blog. For Fashion niche they are many sites like Pinterest, Flickr, etc. Its helpful for fashion niche.

Do a blog comments with do-follow links where it is possible, but don`t spam - write nice comment with link to your blog. If you don`t have enough time to do it - try to pay for this.

Right niche and right circumstances Ive seen Facebook catapult the numbers like I've never seen so I'm always petting it a little more than other stuff. But you get the just I'm sure you want to get it disseminated as far and as wide as possible using everything available- fb, g+, twitter, instagram, bookmarks etc. Know how to court your crowd and deliver consistently interesting/useful info is the hard part. And centrally managing it all of course. G/l

The key for any blog in any niche is to create epic content whether that's blog posts, videos, images, podcasts, infographics, ebooks or whatever your audience like then getting your content in front of your ideal target audience.

Go where they are already (in your case it might be Pinterest, Facebook, fashion blogs and forums) and make your presence felt there (don't spam or annoy people) through sharing useful content (not just your own but others too), blog commenting, posting useful advice and answering questions, guest posting, get involved in social media hubs with lots of followers.

Then there's also paid ads like PPC (Adwords / FB), banner ads, solo ads etc.

If your fashion blog has pictures that you take yourself, get instagram, pinterest, and probably a tumblr too. These websites are amazing at sharing eye-catching photography and then referring people to your website. Good luck!

I used to work for the biggest one in the world. If you can create good content, that audience will handle your growth for you. Consider yourself blessed that your demographic is a bunch of social media obsessed women who will like, share or pin anything. You really don't have to worry about text because the images are what they're there for. A snarky caption is all the text you need.

Other than the content, make sure you've got your facebook and tweet buttons on your posts and make your images pinnable. Get your facebook comments box in place so people will actually reply and when they do they create a story for all their friends to see. Stay on your social media profiles. Pick your best content and tweet it and on facebook share it as an actual image with a link to your post.

Honestly, that's it. It's a really simple equation and the best thing is when it comes time for monetization you're already in a position where you job is to make people want to buy things. Super targeted affiliate links in context will do great and if you run any network ads you should get a nice CPM.

So just do all that. Honestly don't listen to anybody here, this isn't a niche where blackhat pays off.

If you can create good content, that audience will handle your growth for you.

Whilst good content will naturally be shared and linked to you can't rely on that when you're just starting out and don't yet have the audience. People won't magically know your blog exists.

You need to get in the faces (in a good way) of your ideal audience and let them know about your stuff.
