Exodus Wallet is a Scam Wallet

Do not use Exodus Wallet. I use an iPhone and have never installed any third-party apps. Suddenly, all the money ($1387 ETH, $258 SOL, $17 LTC) in my wallet was sent to another address that I did not authorize. This is a clear scam. A few months ago, the same thing happened to my friend. So be careful with this wallet.

That's rough but take it as an expensive learning lesson. Always gotta spend due diligence, especially in the crypto space where it's 90% scammers and it's so easy to part people from their funds because they carry 100% responsibility about them.

Maybe this could have been avoided by using a paper or hardware wallet. I would never use any web wallet, maybe software ones if it's reputable and active open-source projects.

I have exodus for 3 years +...

First time hearing that. I think you simply didn't watch your phone.
 
I just check my wallet and mine is still there. Would be crazy because exodus is huge!

Yep, same here. My exodus is all good. People do stupid things and then blame a whole platform.
 
It seems unlikely that the wallet was at fault; they have 1m+ users I believe, so if the wallet was compromised it would likely be common knowledge.
 
I've been using Exodus Wallet every day for 2 years and haven't had any issues so far. Hearing this from you surprises me because I've even invited all my friends to use it, and there hasn't been any problem. I've received and sent payments in the five-digit range.
 
I haven't faced this issue personally (since I don't use exodus) but a friend of mine has lost his assets with exodus not too long ago. Also, this issue with exodus is quite popular and common since you can find posts regarding this on reddit, discord, and a lot of other forums

Your problem with Exodus is strange. Many people are satisfied with the wallet.
