What are the practices I have to follow to validate this fix? More than 15 URLs have this issue

remove the noindex tag.
You need to check these:
- robots.txt
- htaccess
- SEO plugin
These 3 are usually what can insert noindex tag into those pages, so check these 3 things first and remove the noindex tag if you find it (although, you need to be very careful with robots and htaccess as 1 misplaced / removed / missing character and you can render the site non-functional, moreso with htaccess than with robots, but still)...
Also, can you tell us what type of URLs are noindex'd? Because some URLs really do need to carry this tag, so you might not need to bother with them

After verifying there's no noindex tag within the first two files listed above by @tazarbm and ensuring your SEO plugin isn't noindexing your site/pages, you can submit back to GSC for validation.
Sometimes, false positives do happen. So, after you've verified there isn't a noindex tag anywhere, you can submit each URL to the URL inspector and click "validate fix".

Those URLs are not posted or any page permalink, Actually a user has searched my site name in the search bar of my website on different pages so, this way there are multiple URLs like this created which I don't think need to be indexed in Google.
For example - https://sitename/extension/sitename/author/page1/2

Don't use any bots , go with manual testing and find the urls to remove noindex tag.

Test each URL to make sure the issue is resolved and the content displays correctly without errors.

yeah, they don't need to be indexed... But I don't know what to do with them (in GSC I mean). I think I'd let google re-evaluate them and hope that they ignore them
