Exchange reddit tips and tricks!

Since reddit is a social network, I thought it would be a great idea to exchange a few tips and tricks on how to maximize exposure there, how to gain a lot of comment karma, how to get a lot of link karma etc...
Recommend good and interesting subreddits etc

I'll start:

You can get a lot of karma by posting memes
Good subreddits for funny stuff are /r/funny, /r/adviceanimals, /r/animatedgifs

what does Karma do for you on reddit? what's a high Karma count, I think I have like 5K or so.

I've had a few posts go to the front page, usually matter of something unique and really popular. It drives a lot of traffic, but they don't click on ads. If you offer techy, yuppie products, they do buy stuff, but you have to provide real value to get clicks.

It does absolutely nothing for you other than being something you can brag about.

you need random, human interaction on reddit to avoid banning and get upvotes to count. it would probably be better to hire people to run several accounts, working on different niches, and upvote on overlaps
