Look at the chart on this channel, something happened there. What made the algorithm pull all the traffic from the channel? There's channels doing this content getting tons of views, this looks like it was picking traction them boom, gone.

This is another one of those documentary style videos, it peaked on july 2023 at 650k views on that month then it has been on a decline, looks like it's getting nowhere.

Another channel stuck in the mud since it peaked on april 2024. Look at how it had 2 hits and then the massive difference in views from these two videos.

This is another documentary style channel stuck without traffic. Quality is pretty decent. This guy has wasted potentially a considerable amount of money producing these videos and the algorithm didn't send him any luck

So this to me is just an example of how it's all about luck. There's people doing these videos that get tons of views consistently. On these examples, you get one or two hit hit wonders, then it peaks and the traffic is gone. Sometimes not even that. And they don't seem to pick up traction again, so you cannot even cycle through having different channels. Even if you had, you would need first to have a lot of AdSense accounts to not mix the channels up, and I have no way to have multiple AdSense accounts so I can't use multiple channels safely. I have no friends or family to trust to open different AdSense accounts. But even if you could, like I said it's just all about luck it seems, and many channels seem to never recover after having a good streak. So you are wasting all that money in producers for nothing.

I agree with you 100%.
However, the only solutions I've found to this problem so far, is by either having someone from inside YouTube help fix your channel, or working with different channels in totally isolated environments such as, different phones, computers, virtual machines, emulators or VPSes, and using different IP addresses, Phone numbers and AdSense accounts.
It's a numbers game like winning the lottery. As first principles you need to have good content. So first get good content made, and then test that by uploading it to multiple channels until you get the one that works.


There's no way to escape luck.
Rolling the dice several times in a row and landing sixes is luck. If you roll the dice enough times, the probability distribution will eventually average out to 50/50 and there's no way to escape that.
Quantum mechanics describes the fundamental nature of reality, and randomness is fundamental concept in Quantum mechanics. What stems from this is, reality is fundamentally random.
The manifestation of the physical world around you is the result of the quantum randomness losing coherence over time and giving emergence to classical large scale spacetime structures via "decoherence".
So if the fundamental reality is governed by principles like "rolling the dice" (randomness), then it is all fundamentally "luck based" which you cannot escape. But for you to even have been in a scenario where you got to achieve something in the first place, wouldn't have been possible if laws of physics, the forces of nature and the motion of particles didn't act together to "cause" you to be there.


The best you can do is research and understand the nature of the system better, find shortcuts and exploits, and control the things you can control. Some things are simply beyond the scope of your control.
Once you understand how the system works well enough, you can use all of the information you gathered to your advantage to increase your probability of success.

What's probably happening here is, an intelligent entity can potentially "to some degree" bias the probabilities in their favor from the chaotic randomness. This is what i believe can be achieved by understanding any given system better and taking course of action using learned information to increase chances of success.

My biggest problem is, I don't know how to get more AdSense accounts. So everything I do, it would all be tied to this same constant (to follow the particle physics analogy) and thus im not sure if im properly rolling the dice.

I have the content, since I can produce it myself for the niche that im familiar with and have had success in the past, and I can adapt it for subniches. However, being a producer means I barely can't produce 1 video every month or two of good quality because of the level of editing required.

I have savings to invest in producers, but it would be for other niches im not familiar with. But im familiar with the whole thing of making content and ranking it. The problem is beating the randomness of luck, and the biggest wall I face is the limitation of only one AdSense account, so im stuck with, I guess 2, max 3 channels at once, otherwise I assume im pushing it and they are annoyed at people that have more than that, specially if you do a cycling-through-channel approach where you upload a number of videos, and if they don't perform you remove the channel and try again.

In my experience I have a channel that I haven't uploaded in 3 years and continues to make millions of views. It's super ranked original videos, but I cannot monetize it because they demonetized it and they wouldn't tell me which videos are the issue to reapply again, and I refuse to delete my content when I don't even know if I even need to delete it. And if you delete the wrong videos the channel is dead since as you may know as a very experienced person in this game, all channels depend on a limited number of videos that pull most of the traffic into the channel. Unless you know a YT employee or something that tells you "this is the problem, you have certain keywords/title/thumbnail/scene in this video" then you could go an edit it without resorting to nuking videos hoping you deleted whatever was the problem, but most don't so they end up deleting the wrong videos and destroying their work for nothing.

Meanwhile I wanted to start a new channel as devastating as this is, but I know about the randomness and luck and thus working on a very time consuming niche to not have luck would suck so I was looking at ways to increase my luck. But im stuck with the same AdSense and I also have the other demonetized channel so I wonder if they would shadowban my attempts to make a new channel and rank content with a demonetized channel linked to my AdSense.

I just wish I could go back to my original channel which has some of the most ranked videos in the world for the niche, but since YT refuses to disclose where is the problem im stuck in that situation. If you have any help in this sense please let me know.
