Here's an autoblog that is doing pretty well for those of you that need examples: http://bit.ly/4uGWe1

The site has over 10,000 backlinks and over 29,000 pages indexed. This used to be mine but I sold it a few months ago. No idea how much it's making right but from what I can tell it's doing remarkably well. (20,000 uniques/month on average, it's still hosted on my reseller account.)

If you go to Google and put in the sites name, it lists the site.com as a suggestion, that alone shows how many people search for it by name. Posts are indexed amazingly fast as well and sometimes even rank above the original site. (No idea if this still happens, but it used to before I sold it.)

Anyways, don't mean to brag or anything, just wanted to give you guys a good example of an autoblog that's doing it right. (Hehe, I honestly regret selling it for $300. It probably makes that in a month now...)

May I ask What autoblog plugin did you use? WP-robot?

BlackSeng, I forgot what plugin I used, sorry. That was the second and last autoblog I've ever made. The first one was about ants and was doing pretty awesome as well but then it got hacked and I had to delete everything :(

Razorbl, yup, took quite a while but was worth it.
 
You build that site two years ago ? How long it took to get first 10k pages indexed?

Wow that's a really nice one. I've been looking for examples on doing just 1-2 instead of making hundreds of autoblogs...
Just curious, any reason why comments are off? Wouldn't those help or is spam just that bad?

BlackSeng, I think feedwordpress was used as bzy39 illustrated. To be honest, I didn't work much on the blog, just installed the plugin, added a bunch of sites to the feed, and just built tons of links.

Comments were off because I didn't want to bother with spam.
 
but why are you keeping this for your self, teach the rest of us, you iwll always have plenty of noobs to buy ur stuff
 
I created a "blueprint" of what I did after I sold the blog and sold a few copies, if anyone's interested let me know, I'll offer you a discount :)
