I am fairly certain that you have to work for IANA to get an email for example.com as they own it. Even then, I doubt anyone would be allowed to have one.
Example.com has no MX records, and the ports besides http/https are closed. Even if someone could theoretically set up an email account on the server, it would be incapable of receiving incoming email.
