So I have been reading AND acting upon my copy writing skills in attempt to improve my click-through rates, conversions, etc. What I am really after is some examples of sites that earn $500-$1000 a day through affiliate marketing. I just want to see what sort of language/tricks/layout they use to optimize their website for monetization.

Before I get a whole lot of backlash, i'm not looking for some get rich quick scheme, or blanket statements like 'add value', 'provide a good experience to the customer', which ARE important, but not something you can learn from. I don't want people's own sites, maybe you could just point me in the direction of a good word to search into google.

PM me, I have a list of a few landing pages. I don't know what they earn because it's all about the traffic but I'm sure they convert well. Don't want to post them publicly.

Edit: Please stop PMing me.

I very much doubt anyone will out there $1k a day sites. Be sure there are tons of them by pros in here!

Can't say I know a $500 a day site but I know some public niche case studies

For adsense I like Pat flynn's website from smartpassiveincome:
Securityguardtraininghq.com it earns $2800 a month

For amazon I like Spencer Haw's site from nichepursuits:
Bestsurvivalknifeguide.com but it only earns $500 a month so can't say this is a 500 a day site

PS. You can head over to flippa.com and see the listings. Some sites being sold claim over U$ 30K per month and provide some kind of proof of it.

Easy! Go to Flippa and look for high earning sites! All the info about conversions/CTR etc. is there and you can take a look at the live site! :)

Most of those sites are total BS. Do not believe the earnings they post there. I've seen many that in no way could be making what they claim to be earning.

It really comes down to traffic, niche, and monetization. Those are the three things you need to figure out to create a successful site. Find a niche that you think you could drive traffic to and then see how others are monetizing it. Try to use their ideas and find a way to do it better.

Thanks mate, yeah I didn't think anyone would want to post their site/niche, just hoping someone would be able to post one up as an example.

Thanks mate, I will check them out, i'm sure I can still learn a thing or two from them

I checked out flippa but only saw chit sites which were obviously lying, having traffic of 100-500 UV a day.

Thanks for the tips mate, I have been experimenting with traffic sources (social media, youtube) and different sources of monetization. Just working on coversions now, so was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

For conversion and CTR you should check site unbounce.com, there you have hundreds of examples how to design landing page, going to details like how to match up colors, where to put call-to-action button, what to do and what to avoid, all comments are done on live examples and pages, they are giving pros and cons for each tested page so over time you can get a really clear picture what and how to do. At the end it's on you, same principle of testing, design etc is not applicable for every niche on same way so you have to do split-tests, send traffic to 5 or more landing pages to see where you are getting most of conversions and clicks. Looking for somebody else's high earning pages is bigger job than to make your own thing.

I agree with this. Optimizing your site/copy for conversions is what it's all about. Unbounce is a great resource for this. Kissmetrics as well. There's probably a lot more out there. I've actually been trying to become better at this myself. The traffic is there for me in a lot of niches, I just need to convert better.

Thanks so much mate! That site is amazing, I wish I had the money right now to invest in it. But the blog is extremely helpful.

Kissmetrics is awesome, there is a great blog on there. Thanks for all the help guys, i'm getting started on a new landing page so this will help a lot.

One thing that you can do is go to popular sites that offer paid advertising.

Make sure they are large sites with thousands of ad impressions per day, for example Facebook or every high CPC Google searches.

Then go through some of their sales funnels. Many of these will more than likely be continually tweaked on a daily basis to improve conversions so you will probably be able top pick up a trick or two.

This is exactly what I do when I am looking for inspiration to make a good call to action phrase or something that stands out in a particular niche.

Hope that helps!

Flippa is your best bet. You'd be hardpressed to find some one willing to show you what's making them upwards of $15,000 per month.

Some phaggot negged me for this thread, I am NOT asking for people's own sites to copycat from. How hard is that to believe?

I want to LEARN from their examples, on where they position their call to actions, the copy writing techniques to employ etc. What would copycatting achieve?

Nothing.

I still wouldn't have their SERP position or their PPC campaign or their traffic. So many people are quick to dish out hate and so hesitant to help.

I gave you some rep back, there are some jerks here this was a decent thread...

As above - rep given :)

I thought you had a valid point and some of the ideas that have come out in the development of the thread have been interesting. Well done OP.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate being put back into the green. Those two blogs I was directed towards were awesome. I actually made a bit of a summary in word which once I have organised will share with everyone.
