Your connection will connect to the proxy first and then connect to the website or service you're using. Whatever site you visit or service your using will see the ip of the proxy, instead of your original ip.I am using a system in which I am going to launch a spoof live on instagram......but exaclty how do instagram proxies work?? Like if i hook up a proxy to my phone how will it connect to my instagram accounts??

Well im using it for this...the seller had told that I need a proxy like no specific kind just a proxy so i got on here and I was told i needed a deticiated proxy and then I had said I was launching it on my phone so they said its best I use Vpns now

Based on the screen shot you provided, youre in the right part to use the proxy manually thru your smartphone. You just open WiFi, long press your current connection, scroll down to proxy, select manual, enter your proxy and then appropriate port underneath. Then click connect. It will then disconnect you and then reconnect you using the proxy. The only issue with doing it like this is, it only changes your ip in the browser and some apps, not all of them. Some apps will still show your regular IP despite being connected through the proxy. Might have to give Nox, or Bluestacks a try on your home computer.
