Exact Same Keywords, Different average monthly results!!!???

Hi guys,

Quick question, I've searched but didn't come across any thread regarding this so I hope you guys can explain to me.

I'll make this quick.

I have a set of keywords I searched in Google Keyword planner.

In "Search Terms", the Average monthly results is 40.

In "Keyword (by relevance)", the Average monthly results is 1000.

So did I really get a keywords/phrase with 1000 average monthly search or what? What did I miss?

I've also attached the image for you guys to check out.

Really hoping you guys would explain this to me cause I'm trying to learn out keyword research as well.

That is kind of weird, never happened to me before. Are you sure it's the exact same keyword ?

Check country settings, maybe you missed something.

I'm very very sceptical of googles keyword volume tool. My keyword is supposed to be 880 searches p/month worldwide but I got 14,000+ visitors to my amazon affiliate link
