Exact match vs .com

If I find a domain that is an exact match as .net or .org and the .com is nowhere to be seen in the serps, do i take it?

Yeah it doesn't matter.. take it. If you have more backlinks for a .net .org etc. over a .com you still can beat them out.

Yeah, I'd take it also. You still get a boost from .net or .org, and it's all a matter of your SEO skills.

If it makes you feel any better.. You can take a .info and beat the pants off exact match keywords in high PR mega competitive niches. Kinda did that out of spite, but it's all a matter of how much patience you have in the end.
