Exact match domains in 2018

Do these still work?

1 of my EMD websites has tanked from page 1 to about page 6 since the last algo update. What's more is that it keeps appearing and disappearing in the serps, and sometimes the homepage appears (which is what should appear, and has done for the last year) and sometimes a random inner page appears in its place. Not sure why this is happening.

This latest algorithm update is a weird one.

not weird, completely normal.

Your homepage has tanked, now showing an inner page because your site still has some weight.

Fix the HP, you'll jump back up.
