Exact match domain and ranking above Target-Amazon-Walmart Ect.

What are yall's thoughts on having an exact match domain ... and ranking above major ecommerce sites.

I guess what im asking is, is it worth it if i can find an exact match domain name with 5k+ monthly searches and try to rank above these sites.

how hard is it? ect.

any thought would be much apperciated.

It's not that hard to beat the shit out of it and Rank.
I would suggest you to buy and try it out yourself.

EMD's were seriously deprecated way back there in Penquin <Pleistocene Era> or so, so you won't be out-ranking anyone, not even the local nursing home's quilt-making circle website. You may as well give it up and go back to eating chicken with barbeque sauce.
