AgreeI would honestly avoid EMDs. The benefit there is minimal and chance of overoptimizing them, especially if you are new to this, is pretty huge. I would go with something brandable if it were up to me.
One cause may be because it is not easy to remember long domain names. Show me a single long domain'd popular website that is related to food. I am sure there will be none.
