    Hi guys,

after reading 1-2 week constantly in this forum, and learned a lot, I´m searching for some niche or micro niche but I still couldn´t find a niche. I got to say I´m from germany and my project would also be in german.

But no matter for wich niche I search, everywhere is ebay, youtube, amazon and some other pricecompare websites in the top 1-5...

So how is it possible to overtake (I hope it´s the right word) all this giants? For example I´ve searched for a niche for Buddha sculptures... There is a website about buddha sculptures on #1 and directly on #2 ebay, #3 amazon, #4 pricecompare site #5 ebay... and so on...

Some other problem is, that the most stuff is cheap on ebay... So even if you are on #1, the most people will click on ebay to get that stuff cheap...

So still couldn´t find some niche... And also, what is better to build? an website? or an Web 2.0 article?

Web 2.0 articles get ranked extremely fast. Also there is no problem to build too much backlinks and get sandboxed... but on the other hand, it´s not your own, personal website... So you can´t do anything you wan´t...

But I think google gives more attention to this Web 2.0 sites than to new real websites...

Yesterday I built an link wheel for my important website. For one article, I used Wordpress... So after pinging that link wheel, I checked 6 hours later my search engine position for my keyword for the website (was on #6 in top10)... I wondered because now I was on #7... Then I realised, my Wordpress article get from zero to #5... Only with that Link wheel... And 24 hours later, it is still on #5... It´s intresting because now I think I get traffic to my #7 page from my #5 article LOL...

By the way, excuse my english, it´s not the best...

First off, "Buddha sculptures" only gets 62 exact searches a day. It kind sucks for a niche. This list is straight out of Market Samurai:

Let's take a look at the chart and see what the first page of Google looks like:

Eh...this is the SERPs from the U.S. - I wouldn't tackle this one, a coulple of red results which would make me wary.

But guess what...."buddha figurines" gets 79 exact searches, more than your original keyword:

Almost no red results. I know I could be on the first page with buddhafigurines.org. (which is available) Gets some backlinks are you'll be near the top. i bet you could rank with a web 2.0 property if you optimized it perfectly.

Get Market Samurai. Learn it. Use it.

    Hi biks,

I already use Market Samurai :)

Thanks for your answer! A lot of work there you did to answer! thanks again.

But I told that I´m from germany and my website would also be in german and for the german market. My searched keyword in german is "Skulptur Buddha", wich gets 178 searches a day. For me, that would kickin ass! I got some Prepaid phone Card website (ok I was new and so I couldn´t know that it´s a very hard fighted niche), I invested 4-5 months of my life for that website... The last 2 weeks I used 12 hrs of my day to make that site better and better... Now I´m getting only 10-15 users a day and I am so happy if I can make 20€ a week...

So 178 users a day would be an amazing step for me... But this "Skulptur Buddha" was only an example...

Also my results for germany are:

There you see ebay and amazon are all red. And that´s in nearly all niche I´ve searched for. I tried Lego, I tried some other stuff...

So what do you mean? Is it anyway easy to kick ebay away there? So I´m only since 5 months in online marketing and got to learn a lot...

it is dead simple to overtake them all. Some of them would even have a pr4 or pr5.But never worry,by getting links from unique c-class aged sites, you will surely overtake them. You need not even get a pr4 or pr 5.Do not get intimidated by these sites. They wil always be there;it is us who have to kick them out of the top serp positions.

Ok thats some good news! Thanks for that. What do you mean with c-class backlinks? I´m still new in SEO and only use Angela´s backlinks, some edu backlinks and blog and forum backlinks. Also I´ve got one link wheel running.

So what do you guys think about that ones?

The first one gets 230 searches a day and 2$ for an Adsense click. Only the #1 Page uses an keyworddomain. The #1 site sells an ebook. It´s a niche where I want to join since a long time ago... I already got an Domain for that niche but the keywords are not in the domain.

The 2nd Keyword is a complete different niche but also interesting. It also gets 210 searches a day and 2,16$ for an adsense click. The #1 has an online shop. the #2 is his forum. #3 is a question on an question website. #4 and 5 are youtube.
