Hi everyone
I have been a member of AC for a little while now
i've left it to pursue some other income sources but it paid for a nice vacation with my gf this summer.
Many newbies with AC are currently having problems with submission and i see redtide helps out everyone here. He seems like a stand up guy (i lurk from time to time
) and i wrote an ebook on AC as well. I remember a certain redtide asking me a question on dp about it but not buying.
i guess he was making his book at the time.
But to get to the point here
AC has become a lot harder to get good upfront payment offers or to even get your article accepted than it was before. My upfront offers have decreased and i notice that my upfront offers have fallen (i have been lazier so maybe thats just it
.
I don't know about redtides ebook or what he says in there (and i don't wanna give away any BIG secrets here that he may use to sell his ebook so i am going to keep the tips short and simple). These may be right or wrong but this is what i have seen and experienced with my few months on AC.
1. Get rid of your rejected articles from your page- my accounts with the rejected articles on it always get lower upfront payments than those with the rejected articles deleted. This deviation happens with articles similar in topic and function.
2. Resubmit your articles - it seems like either these people who do the editing are bipolar or there is a large variation in how and who accepts the articles. I have had an article rejected outright for being too common get an upfront payment of 3.58 a couple weeks later. But its a good idea to delete it from the page and do a FRESH resubmit.
3. Don't Try to reword PLR - unless its a very specific article with/on a specific item (eg. sony ericsson k800 web browsing review) it doesn't make sense. You are going to get rejected or end up with an upfront of $2.00 +/- $.50. I would suggest you mix the PLR's (combine relevenat information from different PLR's to get a super unique one or change the focus of the PLR to something specific) or get a tool like instant article wizard (browse for it here on the forum) where you can combine info from like 5 different articles to create a new article.
4. If you use DNS, do not only spellcheck the articles, you have to READ the articles to make sure they are grammatically correct. Some words like bear/bare/beer will be transcribed by DNS and pass spellcheck but totally make you and your article look stupid, if they see you doing this too often, the upfront payment suffers.
5. When outsourcing- for the first couple of weeks always proofread what your rewriters/writers are giving to you. From my experience at the start the quality is VERY high and deteriorates drastically, especially if they have a goal that they reach (like they want to buy an ipod etc)
6. Get involved with the AC community - unless you are clout level 7+, or you have very niche targeted articles with VERY high keyword density, most of the readers of your articles will come from AC. IF you want a high residual income from pageviews, get active within the ac community and raise your clout level. This will also prevent you from getting banned as they seem to be watching new accounts like hawks now, esp is the accounts have consistent submission with little or no promotion.
7. Titles are EVERYTHING - The first and last page are important for getting upfront offers (i highly doubt they read through every article submitted cause c'mon if writing articles is this hard, can you imagine reading articles 9-5 EVERY SINGLE DAY!). I read a book call how to write an article in 7 minutes, i think its called 7 minute articles or how to write an article in 7 minutes. It was being sold on dp but i believe a search of this forum might come in handy *cough cough.
8. Create a Blog or website that autoposts your articles and promote the hell out of it to make the residuals pour in, you can also promote each individual article on social network sites to get a huge boost in readership and money from pageviews. If you have an interesting article. BOOM!
9. This one is weird and i cannot figure out why, the articles that have the lowest upfront offers and are rejected sometimes from upfront offers altogether are ALWAYS the ones that get the most organic traffic and highest pageviews. Maybe its coincidence but the "rare" articles that ac is forcing you to write now, many people are not searching for it. Any General of AC, is this the same for you guys?
10. Do not fake traffic on AC unless you; have a clout of 7+, are getting organic 250+ views a day, have a blog/website and are faking the referrer
thats my hint for the day just search fake the referrer here and you will find the keys. but only do this after you have high clout, active in AC community and know what you are doing or else you will be banned!
11. Make your account growth organic, it makes sense to give accounts a break sometimes, do not submit 5 articles a day to it like clockwork without promoting even a few of them, you are just begging for a ban (esp if you link all your AC accounts to your paypal account).
12. Every day set your goal, and write it down, visualize it and get it done. Writing articles is hard and sucks when you wanna watch tv or have work to do but when the money comes in (which it definately will) and the RESIDUAL money comes also, then it will all be worth it.
13. Buy Redtides book
It seems like it REALLY helps you make you a better writer for AC and many people here have very high opinions of it and my GOD, you are gonna make the money back in one DAY! its a no brainer! I only wish i did not have to learn all of my lessons on AC the hard way

Why did i just make this SUPER LONG POST?
I am now a newbie in website creation and google is not indexing my %#&@*!$ site and i remembered the frustrations and annoyances that i had with AC and wanted to save people the trouble with a quick reference guide.
If it helped, thank me mehn
peace out and good luck everyone
