Everyday Proxies

I bought hidemyip last year and it works from time to time, but not very well. It often crashes or says "server not available."

Yesterday, I was trying to sign up to several TwitterLive, Ping.fm and Bit.ly accounts but hidemyip failed me every time. So I did a SB scrape of proxies and chose the fastest ones, used Google Chrome and their Proxy Switchy addon. These seemed slow too and I got numerous errors on these sites, meaning I still couldn't sign up. So I tried hidemyass free version and managed to sign up to a couple but no more.

What do you use on a day-to-day basis for this kind of task?

sounds like you might want to try some private proxies..... check the sales section

their up almost 100% of the time extermly fast.
