How to turn targeted traffic into money?
Literally EVERY tutorial here talks about getting targeted traffic to a site or a link, but we all know that is not the end goal. Traffic doesn't equal money without the final crucial step that nobody mentions here.
Everyone talks about finding a niche, promoting and using tricks to gain visibility/ranking. The tutorials mention CPA offers, CPC, CPM, CTR etc. but they don't describe the actual money generator in concrete terms. Where do you get your CPA offers, CPM ads and CTR stuff? I understand the abbreviations but nobody explains where to get them.

Where do you get your referral links, affiliate links or ads that you can put on your website? There has to be more than just Clickbank and Amazon, because those are just online shops.

Put simply: Please explain where do you actually get your money from.
This thread is not about how to get traffic to your offer link, but how the offer link actually works and how to get one.

There a are a lot of affiliate networks where you can join and promote offers.

Depends on the niche you want to promote and your region but some examples are:
Content junkie
Clickbank
Financeads.net
Daisycon
amazon
Zanox
Tradetracker
...
those are all affiliate networks they pay per sale or per action.

You can also use pay per click network like adsense. They pay per click.

There are so many ways to make money online. You can also dropship, make a membership site, work as a freelancer, ...

They don't explain certain things because of how basic some of those items are.. Just use the search function to find what your looking for...

How to turn targeted traffic into money? Simple by just trial and error the offers/products on your cpa/affiliate network if all else fails there's always adsense to turn those traffic $$$

That depends on what your site and business. For example, I like to try to convert the traffic on my business website into clients, but if that doesn't work my Adsense ads on the business' blog will generate a bit of revenue to compensate.

Other people may build a site that focuses strictly on promoting a specific type of product such as computer monitors. If that's the case, they may focus on generating revenue using affiliate networks such as Amazon Associates. That's the reason that the guides here don't cover that topic; because covering every monetisation method would detract from the traffic generation method of the guide. However, as you've already brought this issue up, I may consider creating a guide explaining monetisation and how it works in further detail later for people who are new to online marketing.

For now, since it's evident that you're new to this, I'll explain a bit about how you get an affiliate link and how it works just to get you started.

When you sign up for an affiliate network such as Clickbank, you can choose any number of the thousands of different products they have for you to promote. If you decide to promote a cookbook product, all you have to do is click the "promote" button next to the product and you'll receive a special link that looks like this: "http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.hop.xxxxxx.net/?tid=xxxxxxxxxxxxx". This is your affiliate link.

Now, the way this link works is simple. When a users clicks on your affiliate link, a cookie is embedded in their browser before it takes them to the landing page of the vendor (or the sales page in some cases). This cookie will track the user's activity so that you can see how far they got into the sales process as well as credit you for any sales you make so long as 60 days haven't passed.

Because niche is 90%, everything else is easy. There are many reputable offers from different providers, so if you have a good niche then you go to reputable provider and choose the offer you think is best. Nobody can give you exact steps to choosing provider because niches vary so much.

I tend to believe that whoever finds himself/herself on this forum was looking for something more specific on the internet and is not a total noob, the basics are always out there, BHW is where the real broth is, if for instance one is a complete newbbie they will always look for their way around and soon find some direction, as for me, i may have stumbled on this site recently but i have been online for more that 6 years BHW is just sharping my skills.
