Never ever rely on organic sales from google. You need a mix of everything. And believe it or not Ads is the fastest way to scale. Organic takes timeeeee.

Ad campaigns are not a waste of you do them properly: If you spend $1 to make $2 that is great. Are you experienced with running Ads? or just testing on first store?

You need to make sure you ad game is 100% before dismissing it totally.

With the organic, have you considered starting a blog? You would then use your blog articles to answer questions on forums,quora, reddit etc this will bring you referral traffic as well as backlinks (for better SERP rankings)

The website loads fairly fast for me also.

You need to keep at it with your best tries, you don't need to give up until you've eliminated all options to make the shop a success.

Tip 1: Spy on other shops like yours that are successful, see how they present their stuff, and where/how they reach their customers.
Tip 2: Read books on successful e-commerce.
Tip 3: You have to put in the hard work, every minute spend past your regular working schedule may bring up a key opportunity.

No traffic from Twitter? Go with FB, Insta, Pinterest..
No traffic from the above? Go with niche-related forums.
No traffic from forums? Tap on video marketing.
No traffic from videos? Go with classified ads.
Etc...

No conversion after all this effort? Maybe its time to switch to something else...

last time i tried to run an fb ads campaign all i got was a big headache

i really dread that website, it has so many options, so many little buttons, so much stuff, holy shit

i just don't know how to run ad campaigns

im no expert but isnt your site perfect for instagram?

Your site looks great and loaded very quickly for me. I think the products would do really well on FB Ads. Watch a few videos where people are setting up ecommerce ads. It looks confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it.

the thing is, not only is fb ads a nightmare to deal with, but the documentation around is mostly likely outdated, so i would be lossing money implementing it the wrong way.

i just cant afford wasting money experimenting you know? and i feel this is how this game works... you have to gamble money, until you find a certain configuration for your fb campaign that converts... the problem is, i dont want to smoke my savings fucking around with fb ads configurations

Not really. There's a FB board here where you might get more help. I think you'd need some kind of advertising with an ecomm site. If that isn't what you're interested in, maybe you can work together with someone who is skilled in marketing? Or maybe you'd be more comfortable flipping sites instead of running them long-turn?

One thing I learned about anime is that the competition is high because the products are flashy and have high perceived value, however, I also learned that anime fans are very hard to convert, partly because they are already savvy about Chinese products, partly because many of them are kid/teens, and partly because the ones with money have also grown out of wearing flashy stuff such as graphic t-shirts. In my opinion, if targeting anime, I would do a broad anime store and create categories for each show. Then I would start separate Pinterest boards for each show and fill them with memes/quotes/gifs, and post your products here and there. Something like 1 product pin per 10 meme pins. Then I would start a Youtube channel focused on reviewing anime products in your store. All of the Pinterest and Youtube content should be reposted on your Facebook. Then, I wouldn't waste ads for the popular old school anime like DBZ. Instead, I would create a Facebook video ad showing a cool product for one of the trending anime shows of the season (buy it yourself and make a real product video). This season was an anime called Demon Slayer. Next, I would work on building a Reddit account and post your anime memes on reddit, but don't self-promote. Instead, use this account as your ad account and make an ad featuring you or a model (not mockup) trying on one of your products. Make your reddit name the same as your store name "lookoutshop" since your ad post will use your regular username. Reddit is the last focus since it's the hardest to monetize. Google traffic should just happen naturally as long as you focus on seo and once you start to rank, you can see which keywords are bringing in traffic and focus on getting those to 1st page.

So, in short, for traffic I would focus on Pinterest>Youtube>Facebook>Reddit. I don't use twitter so I can't comment on them. That would be my strategy. Don't know how well it would work though. People also make a lot of youtube anime videos by cutting content but I'm not sure how risky that is. I would also like to add that I don't know the legalities of selling anime products or dropshipping them. It's one thing to be an affiliate and provide an affiliate link but to have your own store means you are more responsible for any trademark/copyright issues.

You grow a dragon ball meme page and then you slide in your products. No one is just posting pure products all the time.

If you really want to invest your time and money into social media traffic, you are better off going with Tik-Tok. It is a much younger crowd. Try finding some accounts in your niche, and reach out to them for a paid shoutout. It is still a new platform and people aren't really hip that you can monetize the accounts. And start your own account as well.

Mate be careful with those kind of products ,stay under the radar because you will get sued hard if the company behind DB catches you. You don't have the right to sell those without them explicitly allow you to.
Don't do SEO for this kind of site and don't use your personal ID. Just do one shot ad campaigns from time to time and save money just in case.. .

No on the contrary, its user base is mostly teenagers. Anything that slightly resembles sexiness gets flagged and removed. Very strict on that content.

Seems to me that you’re doing it with the wrong mindset. I’ve read everything that people have suggested you here. There are many points you could have considered. And you always find a way to contradict them. It’s like you’re asking for help without really willing to hear it.
How can you improve your sales if you’re not open to what fellow Blackhatters have to say?
I think the problem here is you don’t take enough time to implement a method. For the IG shoutout, did you try it with more than 1 IG account and was it really relevant to your niche? I have another question with your Twitter account: did you try to bring value to your followers before trying to sell them anything? And for this project overall, how long did you work on it? Was it already more than 6 months? Because you can’t say if an IM project failed without trying everything for at least 6 months in a row with it.
If I were you, I’ll follow some e-commerce journey here and implement what they’re doing to make money happen.
OR, you can try to rank your website organically too using content. You can create a blog related to your niche.
Personally, I don’t see why this website won’t bring money. Many people still love this anime, including me. And even kids these days still appreciate his main character. Just see how they comment on YouTube’s videos related to Goku and DBZ.

Yes Sweetrevenge, I have watched dragon ball super x2 times, starting from episode 1. The fighting is very exciting though everytime, Goku will the last standing hero. haha..
