Failure comes before success all the time, if you get success before failure then your just lucky or your a born businessman ;)

Very great picture. I somehow ended up with success the first time in IM then followed by SO MANY failures.
 
Success can get to your head, failure is the inevitable balance. definitely weighs less if you catch my metaphor ;).

Its all about you when it comes to entrepreneurship. The OP's picture is somewhat flawed. In most cases if your subconscious mind, energy systems and vows are all cleared for the energy of money you will have it.

If you fail, fail, and fail. There is nothing wrong with how you are taking action, their is something wrong with you on a deeper level.

Success lies within the body.
 
Very true, you will always get there if you believe in yourself, work hard and never give up.
 
Too much failure is not good either, if you're one of them then you've chosen the wrong career.

You're right all the greatest business men you hear of have failed at some point. One of my favorite quotes is by Max Levchin(his net worth right now is 1 BILLION!)

?The very first company I started failed with a great bang. The second one failed a little bit less, but still failed. The third one, you know, proper failed, but it was kind of okay. I recovered quickly. Number four almost didn't fail. It still didn't really feel great, but it did okay. Number five was PayPal.?
 
Add a few more zigs to my path before finally hitting on one that worked...

Failure is only good when you've learned a valuable lesson from it, most times when people fail and ESPECIALLY in online marketing it's because they give up, you didn't fail because the method doesn't work you failed because you stopped trying, we find some new and exciting method and try for a few weeks and when it doesn't rake in the $$$ like everyone says they're making they move onto the next "great thing". I'm especially guilty of it and I'm sure 99% of this forum is too. My advice is to choose one broad topic(SEO, Paid traffic, social media) and dedicate 1 year minimum to learning and mastering it. Don't worry about failing it'll happen, just remember 1 thing that actually worked and apply it to your next try.

I've had 20 failed campaigns in mobile cpa marketing before I had 1 profitable, a blog I follow about a super affiliate said that he spent 6 months and 5,000 dollars before he had 1 profitable campaign, now he probably makes 30k+ a month easily if not way more.

I agree with you. I think success is relative. Especially in this kind of business. Im trying new methods every day, they almost all make money, but I only stick with what has potential. If I get my hopes up on something, like I have, and it falls short, but is still profitable, it feels like a failure when in face its a success because I ended up with more than I started, and the time invested is a trade for knowledge and experience I couldnt otherwise acquire to such a genuine degree.

I think as long as we take what we learn and keep progressing were succeeding, failure is but a state of mind. Success implies absolution, like you're done, maybe you will be a success when youre dead, but im still going, hopefully for a long time, so im always succeeding.
 
My experience has been a little different. It's been more like fail-fail-fail-fail-small success-fail-fail-bigger success-fail-fail-fail-small success-fail-fail......etc.

I don't think there's an end of the road where you either hit success or failure. It's more sporadic from what I have noticed and a big success or failure can be right around the corner.

Although most of my income/traffic is from SEO so that probably explains it. Fuckin Google.

Definitely. That might be true. People should think more than twice if they noticed that they couldn't really get the success they want. Perhaps they really have chosen the wrong career.
