Every blog post has the same keyword?

One of the keywords that I'm targeting is a product offering on my website (a service). This service is noted at the end of my blog posts, something along the lines of "...if you want more information, contact us for XXXkeyword-phraseXXX..."

With this, am I limiting myself to one main keyword? Is there any inherent strength to having other keywords that apply to my niche that fit correctly within the writing of the blog post? I only offer one online service that I am targeting heavily, I have a local service that I seem to target more via worth-of-mouth but also list on several pages within my site for a local area search.

I'm not seeing any SE traffic and want to see if I can optimize my blog area without having to edit or play catch-up later down the line as I start to slowly, or quickly, or eventually rank in my niche.

Yes, there is. To increase relevancy / topical strenght.

You can use these words to link to appropriate pages on your website too.

So link the words in an anchor as opposed to using matching tags at the bottom of the page through the blog section itself. Never thought of that as well. Thought the tags would cover it. Always learning. Thanks.

Yes, contextual links have more power. The most actually.

Would that have a negative effect via first link priority with my main navigation header, or does that not apply since I'd be linking to individual articles that are not within my nav header already?
