evernote - backlinks?

Backlink from Evernote is useless, you will need to log into your account to see the backlink.

you can create a public URL which you can share with others. try it. i tried to index that url, but still no luck.
public URL is visible when you click the "share" button on top of each post

I actually recently tried Evernote but with no luck. I used the same link building I did for the rest of my tier 1. All my other links and platforms did just fine but Evernote never indexed and isn't getting picked up by any backlink tools including google search console. I used it a lot a few years back but now the content is locked behind a screen you have to skip. Since you can see the article behind it, I was hoping google could read the content but it doesn't look like it.

dont want it badly. just want to know if there is gimmick to it. if others have not been able to get a backlink from it, then I will give up and move on to the next platform.
What was your method for trying to index?
