Now, I have used a bunch of sellers in the past.

Some worked well. Some didn't.

I did see improvements in my rankings. But did not affect my SEO metrics that much.

What has been your experience?

I know many sellers here will be enraged with this thread :p. To them, I will say that it's all about the PROBABILITY of finding a good seller out of the bad ones. On BHW, the chances are much better than that on Fiverr. I choose BHW over Fiverr, always.

BUT...

For a client's site, what do you think of using a few Fiverr backlink sellers? Are there any good ones?

I would also be curious to know if there are any BHW sellers that also sell on Fiverr.

Someone in here had experimented with blasting massive number of backlinks to a fiverr gig. If I remember it right, nothing besides impression hiked. It's more dependant on the kind of services you offer. Else, orders would just remain stagnant.

They are really only effective for certain content, and therefore you need to understand if it is useful for you.

Yes, because in my experience, it was not like they were shooting my rankings to the moon but for low-medium difficulty keywords, they were working.

You mean for parasite content?

I think people use it to spam your competitors site. Thats what spam links are good for. They can can only hurt SEO.

haven't purchased backlinks off fiverr for many years now so I'm not up-to-date but I would say that all backlinks sold for the basic price ($5) are useless, or might even hurt your site. Probably there are a few good backlinks offered through fiverr but to find those you'll have to pay $10s or $100s for a couple of them. But who has time to go through hundreds of pages of gigs of the same few dozens sellers to see which are good and which bad?

I don't trust fiverr anymore... not for anything SEO / internet marketing anyway...

better to build one link yourself than buy a thousand from anyone never mind fiverr

I'm 100% sure there are good sellers on Fiverr, but, because of the lowering of prices that other people who in the first place with such moves do not respect themselves and their work, then everyone else, are forced to lower the price to some lowest human levels literally, which is horrible!

Smash google stacks with 1 million spam links and be happy
Search for "plumber DC" and see what can happen...

I took the time (due to some money someone gifted me) to do just that---but with SEOClerks, not Fiverr. I did pay for some of the pricier ($10s) packages, and cut down on the 'pages of gigs' by restricting things to properties I could get that provided login details. As a result, I know a few of the better sellers and better backlink sources, which I'll keep to myself.

for low competition sites, it will work, if you are going for some cheap packagess then you are out of luck

why keep to yourself? Worse yet, why mention this if you're going to keep to yourself? Do you like when people give away valuable stuff here on BHW? If you like when people give you good stuff for free you are then morally obligated to give back. So, cut the crap and share the sellers with us

never ever use such service on Fiverr, because of a lack of trust, you can just pay people and ask them to give good reviews, unless you can pay more attention to which reviews are truly honest.

Hmmm, spoonfed much? I wasn't obligated to put out what I did, and it wasn't even about Fiverr. You asked if somebody had done some research, and that's what I shared. It's your turn, your obligation, and your job in IM to do your own spade work.

When it comes to Fiverr, you really gotta find the needle in the haystack.
There's some good stuff available there, but most of it's crap.

Hi there,

Just like any marketplace there are good sellers and bad sellers.

There are some good sellers.

Example: I use Fiverr to purchase guest posts.

e.g. theres a website called "V.com" that sells for 100 usd for a single post on different forums, but there are sellers on Fiverr that sell guest posts for 25 usd for the same website.

There are bad sellers on Fiverr as well.

Example: There was a seller who increased my sites spam score from 1% to 30ish %.

I would recommend you to do your research and compare.
