So I am just wondering is it just me or do you ever just get totally burned out, like sitting down in front of your tablet, the laptop or your giant computer screen and feel the life being sucked out of you. Like looking into a dark chasm, rather than finding any joy in the technology its sucking the very soul out of you.
I get that way typically at the end of the month, I call it End of the Month Entrepreneur Syndrome or EMES for short.
But lately its been every week, could be no funds coming in from my long time ecom biz of my own custom made products, could be every time I try something new fail fail fail.
Ugh why am I venting here, I mean I guess we all have our days, and working 7 days a week thanks to damn Covid, and still not making $$ learning a lot, to apply to the future but just curious if anyone else get this dark feeling it doesn't last but a few days but lately almost every week one day being near a computer makes me feel lifeless listless, sad, and I have worked via the web for over 20 years, and had much success but still had EMES at least once a month.
Just wanted to vent a bit, share a bit, now for a good joke and if you are offended by foul language only one bad word as laughter makes me feel better...
An older gent is riding on the bus, enjoying the quiet.
At the next stop a young man boards the bus, blaring his boom box.
The older gent stared at the young kid, his hair was the color of the rainbow.
The young kid with the rainbow hair said "You got a problem old man"
The older gent said nothing.
As the bus pulled to the next stop the older gent got up to leave
And said to the young man -"Sorry for staring but in my youth I once F*cked a peacock, thought maybe you were my son!"
Thanks for reading sharing and hope laughing too.

Yes.

I has this for 3 months straight, and still have it to some extent.

Went from $20K per week to 0 in a matter of minutes.

Only way to get through it is remember the feeling when it was going well and strive to get that again :)

nice joke OP.

Try to work when you feel like that if the burnout is still there go for a walk, enjoy the sunrise and the nature.

Don´t try to get away that feeling with any addiction that will only be worse for you.

Get proper sleep. At 7th of sleep cycle, some weird restorative processes is carried out by the brain. People who fail to meet proper sleep hours fail to reep it's benefits.
