Ever been scammed by close ones?

I have had experiences where in I have been scammed to the tune of $1k and in other situations $100-$200 but now I am at a stage where I just tell people that I can't lend them money even if it comes down to the relationship being broken... I don't understand how people even can have a good night's sleep when they owe someone money.

Just leave it and move on...focus on making money and never lend them again

I only loan amounts that I can stand to not get back. I usually forget about them not paying me back after a while. You could try to "barrow" some money from them, amount doesn't matter, and never pay them back. See if they decide to make an issue out of it. It's painfully passive aggressive though...
 
In my country we have a popular saying that says buy loans sell cash and thats why i live in a shithole
 
Lend money and forget. Have lend out to many of my friends and relatives, dint get back from friends, but got back from relatives, but after long time. So just lend a small amount and forget about it.
 
if i loan you money i completely know that the chances of me getting it back is very slim., which makes it very hard for me to loan out money i rather give you a small amount something i can afford to loose with no expectations and have it behind my mind i won't get it back, than to give it as a loan
