Ever been penalised for niche edits?

I always considered niche edits about as safe as you can get for "white hat" backlink building. So that's paying for already indexed articles to have a link to your website inserted into them through manual outreach.

However I've just seen a few people say they had a manual penality doing this...

Anyone else had a penalty for this?

Check the blog backlinks and find some related broken link and the contact to the blogger it is not get any affect to your site.

never been penalized and it always worked very well for me. Those who got penalized probably got the penalty from somewhere else. This method is as white hat as it gets.
