Event messaging spamming

So I saw this method on youtube, not sure if it still works. You basically create an event then invite a lot of people to it. Then in the event theres the ability to message all guests, well only those that are attending or havent replied yet. So I'm wondering if this still works?

Works but can get your domain blocked by facebook if it is flagged by 9 Users

Once you get more then 1k awaiting reply, you loose the ability to message guests

Yes there are limits / filters ... etc. and because of this is hard to make some money this way.

Aren't the events opt-out meaning when you invite someone they are "in"
and actually have to opt-out to leave the event?

Does facebook actually notify you that you can't message after you have 1k awaiting reply? I've had more than that and successfully sent a message.
